A new coach service has been launched in April by Flibco. This connects to Enfield, Wood Green and Finsbury Park, operating every 45 mins, 24 hours a day.
Journey time to Enfield is just 30 minutes.
The Airport has provided funding for the introduction of new Resident Parking Scheme in Takeley Street in May. This scheme is targeted to resolve fly parking in this specific area whilst also allowing residents to continue to park outside their properties.
Flibco have introduced a new stop on their current FL1 Stratford coach service in March. The service now serves Redbridge hourly and provides a new key connection between the London Stansted and East London.
The Airport has installed new cycle shelters in various locations across the Airport for use for Staff, Passengers and Commuters. This provides high quality parking and shelter facilities as well as adding in additional cycle parking capacity.
Greater Anglia have commenced ‘Contactless’ ticketing at the Airport rail station to provide passengers with enhanced customer experience.
Passengers can now just tap in/out their payment card at the electronic barriers to purchase the best priced ticket.
This went live on 8th March.
Arriva successfully introduced the new 723 bus service during February that significantly reduces journey time between Harlow and London Stansted, as well as serving new areas of Harlow (Gilden Way) that are currently not connected with the Airport.
